The following are key committees tasked with overseeing the successful 7th African Conference of Agricultural Economists and the 60th Conference of AEASA:

Local Organizing Committee:

  • Providing the Organisers with essential advice on every aspect of organizing the event, including the program, logistics, venue, security and accommodation.

  • Raising funds to ensure the financial viability and stability of the event

  • Reviewing the event’s prepared budget.

  • Working with staff to produce accurate financial reports.

  • Provides a broader reach for identifying quality papers and speakers at the conference and contributes to the efficient execution of the program at the event

Advocacy and Marketing

  • To set the vision for and manage the overall advocacy and marketing strategy of the conference in various regions and to various organized interest groups

Communications Committee:

  • The Communications committee is responsible for developing, updating and monitoring the event’s communications policies, social networking accounts, and electronic discussion groups, as well as recommending new ways for the associations to communicate with its members and other interested parties through alternative media.
